Mission Statement

Our purpose is to further peace individually and collectively in our world, and to be an educational resource to our community.

Guiding Principles

Our attitudes and demeanor will be open, respectful, and caring toward all people and the environment around us. Our activities are safe and appropriate for all family members to attend.

In our demonstration and reflection of nonviolence, we will use language and behaviors that reflect peace. We will not return violence, verbal or physical, toward any person or other creature. We will not incite others to do violence.

We will accept the consequence of our deeds.

We strive to act with compassion toward all beings at all times including those with whom we disagree.

President Obama has pledged to honor the bilateral agreement with Iraq to remove all combat troops by August of 2010 and all remaining troops by 1/1/12.
